A number of websites, including eBay, are starting to use the same technology to save you money, with the hopes of driving a rise in online sales.
As of Tuesday, these sites were reporting a 20 percent increase in revenue in the third quarter.
According to a recent report from eMarketer, these same sites were earning $12.2 billion last year, which is an increase of 14.4 percent.
So what are these online shopping sites doing to make this possible?
The big ones are making sure your shopping cart is populated and stocked with the right items to ensure that you don’t miss out on any deals, and that the site is as easy to navigate as possible.
The other big ones is ensuring that the items that you buy are what you want.
For instance, if you’re looking for something like a pair of jeans, you should probably browse through a few different stores to find a great deal.
But if you’ve got some leftover cash in your account, or want to shop on the cheap, you can go for it.
“You’ll want to be able to find bargains and save money,” explains Aaron Lichtman, vice president of eMarker.
Bargains are the biggest category of online shopping, and eBay’s site has become a go-to source for many of the items on its site.
You can search for anything you want, and you can filter your results based on categories like clothing, furniture, home goods, electronics, and more.
When it comes to finding items you’re interested in, the site uses its “shopping cart” feature to ensure your shopping basket is populated.
It has a built-in list of popular items that it will highlight in the shopping cart, and also has a “shoe” feature that can help you choose a style of shoe, color, or material that you’d like.
And the site also has an “advice” section that has an array of tips and tricks on how to save more money online.
There are also plenty of other shopping sites that are doing similar things, such as Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and Costco.
If you’re still skeptical about whether or not this is going to be worth your time, it is worth noting that the sites are still in the middle of the process of figuring out how to monetize their services.
EBay has made a point of getting its service fully automated so that it can be used by a variety of different users, and it will be interesting to see how that goes.
At the end of the day, the only way you can really say that you’ve found a great bargain on eBay is if you buy something.
But what about other online shopping services?
These are also still in a bit of an early phase, so there’s still a lot to learn about how they work.
One of the biggest challenges is figuring out what people are looking for.
Are they looking for deals, or just the basics?
Is there a need for a certain type of product?
Is it something specific to a certain age range?
The sites aren’t really making any decisions yet, so it’s going to take some time for all of that to come together.
There’s no denying that eBay has been successful, and with the site now worth over $1.8 trillion in annual revenue, it should be easy to find great deals online.
But with the big sites all vying for your business, you’re going to have to make some tough decisions if you really want to go after the top deals.
