Indian government officials are pushing the government to allow people to use their Aadhaar number to shop on the online shopping portal Fugazi, a bazaar shopping website that launched in Pakistan.
The Indian government has so far resisted the idea of allowing people to shop online with their Aadhaar cards.
It has, however, been able to do so through mobile apps.
According to the Pakistan Electronic Information Authority (PIEA), the government should allow people who have the Aadhaar card to use the online bazaar store and the website.
The PIEA has also requested the Indian government to extend the right to shop from other locations to the country.
India has long been the world’s biggest market for online shopping.
In 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he was open to allowing people with Aadhaar cards to use online shopping portals.
